Life On Azorea

Dagan was born the only child of a wealthy Brazantium trader.  He was raised in high society and pretty much believed the world owed him a living.  His father paid for him to attend Judicial Academy and had to bribe several top ranking board members to look the other way at his disorderly and reckless behavior.  Somehow he graduated and continued his father's tradition of bribing his way to power.

On Azorea, he was a member of the chancellery council.  He was minister of judicial review and an attorney by profession.  Cold and calculating, he was a man highly skilled in law and litigation.  He made his way to power by ruthlessly eliminating all who stood in his way.  He had a reputation for being the sort who would sell his own mother, if it would further his agenda.

He stood about five feet seven inches tall and was balding.  He let the hair he did have grow long, down to his shoulders.  He was a portly man, not accustomed to missing meals, with the shape of a pear and had a large protruding abdomen.  Combine that with his ridiculous hair style and he looked like a short, fat, Benjamin Franklin.

From Outcast to Traitor

Dagan was basically a coward.  Time and time again he evidenced this to the detriment of the Azorean people.  He destroyed lives as easily as some people destroy a mound of dirt.  Griegor paid the price for his cowardice as did Alana, Cadeyrn's wife.  His own people hated him and avoided him like the plague.  He was destined to be a nobody if he stayed with the Azoreans and so he devised a plan.  This plan would involve the whole of Scotland and would cost them dearly.
